Latina cancer survivors in our community need our help now more than ever. ICE's ongoing impact continues to deepen their vulnerability. Many are immunocompromised, marginalized, and still face limited access to healthcare. Yet these same women form part of the essential workforce that keeps our society functioning—working as janitors, grocery clerks, food chain workers, nannies, and caregivers so others can remain safe.
Because they are hourly or low‑wage workers, many do not qualify for government assistance. Overnight, they have lost the income needed for basic necessities such as food, medicine, and housing. Some are at real risk of homelessness.
These courageous Latina cancer survivors—and their families—turn to Nueva Vida, the organization they trust and that has supported them with free cancer services for years. Today, Nueva Vida urgently needs resources to continue protecting them through this crisis.
As a proud President of the Board of Directors, I am asking for your support. Your donation will help safeguard the health, stability, and dignity of Latina cancer patients and survivors who have spent this pandemic protecting all of us.
Together, we can ensure they are not left behind.
