BoatBuilders Challenge !

At the Alexandria Seaport Foundation (ASF), the Boatbuilding volunteers proudly uphold the tradition of hand-building small boats, a skill passed down through generations. Working alongside our Apprentices in our floating workshop, they transform rough-cut lumber into fine, floating rowing and sailing gigs and skiffs. These vessels are not just for display; the Apprentices themselves use the boats they help create!

This year, the Boatbuilders are locked in a friendly Spring2ACTion fundraising competition against the Woodworkers and Maritime Skills crews. They are vying for bragging rights—and, more importantly, to raise vital funds for ASF.
