Del Ray Artisans

Thirty-four years ago, four artists who regularly walked their dogs together thought an art organization would spice up the neighborhood. The dogs agreed, and so the Arts Resource Foundation – ARF (yes, that is in reference to arrfff!) was born. Today this organization is known as Del Ray Artisans, with an active gallery in Del Ray and a Gallery Without Walls program in partner locations throughout the City of Alexandria.

Del Ray Artisans supports the development of artists at all levels. Through strategic leadership and a commitment to sustainable growth, we continue to broaden our services and community outreach. We are proud to carry this legacy forward as we celebrate 35 years of artistic excellence in 2027.

During Spring2ACTion 2026, please give your support to Del Ray Artisans’ exhibits, programs, youth and outreach activities which help members of our community grow as individuals and as artists.
