Chicken Little was trapped during our most recent Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return trip to southwestern Virginia. He was living under a shed, the only surviving kitten from his litter. He's around 10 weeks only and should be close to 3 pounds, but instead he's less than a pound and a half and skin and bones.
His caregiver asked us to take him so he could get the care he needs. He hasn't been eating and is having diarrhea. Despite the supportive care we can provide, he's not gaining any weight. He will need an IV to make sure stays hydrated and receives nutrients to keep his body going.
Chicken Little has a long road ahead of him - we're hoping with veterinary care and some TLC he'll start to bounce back. But it's going to be expensive and we need your help to make sure we're set up to cover these costs. Any help would be greatly appreciated as Chicken Little fights for his life.
