Ishaan’s Fundraiser

Hello! My name is Ishaan and this is my second year as part of Titan Robotics. My Titan Robotics journey technically started in the 7th grade. When I was in the 7th grade, I didn't really know what direction I wanted my life to go in. One of my friends told me I should attend a meeting of the middle school robotics team, Prexie Robotics, so I did. Prexie was a Titan Robotics sponsored team, meaning that they provided mentors and materials to us. One mentor, Taylor, was the first to introduce me to the awesomeness that is Titan Robotics. On Prexie, they not only guided us on the team, but also helped to foster a fun environment where we had the opportunity to learn important STEM principles. Once I came to the highschool, I joined Titan Robotics. Titan Robotics is everything Prexie was but exponentially more. The community is amazing and the opportunities are endless. I have made so many friends over these 2 years, friendships that I hope to continue to expand on over the coming years. Being on the operations sub team also presents me with so many unique opportunities. Our outreach events take place at so many different places. One of my favorite memories from robotics so far has been hosting an official First Lego League qualifier. I started robotics on the front end of these events, as a participant. With Titan Robotics, I got to see and work on the backend, even going as far as getting to be the MC. Another full circle moment for me was the Titan Robotics summer camps. I also participated in these as a student, and now I get the opportunity to be the summer camps director, running the very camps that I was in.
