Little Minnie Is Too Scared To Stay at the Shelter

Minnie is just three years old, yet her short life has already been marked by fear and uncertainty. This tiny Chihuahua mix was found darting through the streets of southern Virginia, trying to keep up with a small pack of stray dogs who, like her, had no one to protect them. Hungry, exhausted, and trembling, Minnie had been surviving on instinct alone, dodging cars, searching for scraps, and hoping each night that she’d make it to the next morning. When she was finally picked up, she was brought to a rural shelter where the chaos and noise are overwhelming for a dog her size. Minnie curls into the corner of her kennel, confused and scared, not understanding why the world has been so unkind.
