Crash Has Arrived
We mobilized to bring Crash to Homeward Trails where he started treatment for severe eye infections while being bottle fed. His eyes are getting better, but it's too soon to tell if he'll have permanent vision loss. He needs ongoing care to kick this infection and get healthy.
We received a call from a woman in southern Virginia who had a mom and 4 kittens living on her property. The mom took the 3 healthy kittens and left 3 days ago - leaving behind this much smaller, visually impaired kitten. We don't know if the kitten is fully blind, but it's clear he's been suffering with a bad eye infection. Regardless, she needs help - fast. We're not sure if he's eating on his own, but the clock is ticking to get this little kitten help if he's going to survive. Not to mention, sitting alone on a deck, he can't defend herself against predators.
