Mia Lost Her Home and Doesn't Understand Why

Tiny Mia's only life she’s ever known just disappeared overnight. Surrendered by the elderly owner who loved her but could no longer care for her, 1 year old Mia went from a quiet, familiar home to the chaos and confusion of a rural Virginia shelter. She doesn’t understand why her person isn’t coming back. She waits, hopeful and anxious, shrinking into herself with each passing day, surrounded by noise, cold floors, and strangers. This is a dog who is used to soft places to rest, gentle voices, and being someone’s whole world, and now she has nothing.
