Waylon Wishes For a New Beginning

Waylon is a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix from southern Virginia who doesn’t understand why his whole world has disappeared. His owner is moving and couldn’t take him along, leaving Waylon heartbroken, scared, and alone in a noisy, crowded shelter where he curls up in the corner of his kennel, waiting for footsteps that never come. Each day, the other dogs get adopted while Waylon watches, his head barely lifting in hope before dropping again. Homeward Trails desperately wants to give him a second chance, but they need sponsors to cover his rescue, transportation, and vet fees. Please help save Waylon so he can leave the cold, lonely shelter behind and finally find the loving home he’s aching for.
