Harley is a gentle Golden Retriever with a heart full of love who was surrendered without warning to a rural Virginia shelter by the only family she ever knew. Now she lies quietly in her kennel, confused and heartbroken, watching the door each day and hoping her people will come back, but they never do. She doesn’t understand why she was left behind, or why the warmth of a home has been replaced with cold concrete and distant echoes. Her days are long, her nights are lonelier, and her spirit is slowly dimming. Homeward Trails wants nothing more than to save Harley from this life of sorrow, but they can’t do it without your help.
