Can We Save Kasi Before It is Too Late?

Kasi is just a baby herself, and at only one year old, she has already she’s endured more than most dogs ever should. This sweet Jack Russell/Dachshund mix from southern Virginia was surrendered to an overcrowded rural shelter by the same owner who gave up her puppies just a week before. Her babies are now safe, but Kasi has been left behind, sitting alone and confused, not understanding why she’s still in this loud, scary place with no one coming for her. Homeward Trails wants to give her the same chance her puppies had, but they can’t do it without help. Unless enough funds are raised, Kasi will remain stuck in the shelter, waiting for a family that may never come.
