I’m proud to serve on the board of The Spitfire Club, a girls' empowerment organization in Alexandria that uses books and literacy to help girls thrive. Every week, Spitfire pairs girls with caring mentors and diverse books featuring strong female protagonists — building confidence, identity, and a love of reading.
Our programming is 100% free, and 93% of our girls say Spitfire Club is a special place where they feel like they belong. This Spring2ACTion, every gift is matched dollar for dollar up to $12,500.
