Making College a Reality for Immigrant Students

Dear friends and family,

For 11 years I have served on the Board of Directors and now the Advisory Board of the Dream Project. The Dream Project provides scholarships, high school mentoring, college coaching, and mental health and legal support for immigrant students in Virginia, which helps them access and succeed in college and in life. I find the organization special because our staff, board, volunteers and donors provide very individualized and personal attention to each student to help assure that they succeed. The work that the Dream Project does is life changing for our students who, in turn, work and contribute to our communities and our state. As you can imagine, the past few years have been extraordinarily challenging for these young people and their families which makes our help now more important than ever before.
