Because of Spring2ACTion donors, 100 middle and high school students were able to take part in Volunteer Alexandria's Youth Engaged in Service program, learning about human services in Alexandria. This year, we need your help again. Join us in connecting even more youth to service.

King Street Cats

Thanks to Spring2ACTion, King Street Cats provided food and critical veterinary care to more than 350 cats in 2025. When urgent calls for help came from our community, we were able to step in—funding life-saving surgeries for vulnerable cats and kittens who are now fully recovered and thriving in their forever homes. Your support through Spring2ACTion didn’t just make a difference—it saved lives.

Spring2ACTion enables 703 Warriors to tell the stories behind the jerseys where access and opportunity turns into confidence and belonging. Community support makes our free, three-days-a-week programming possible for Alexandria’s underserved youth.

Gabriel's Journey to Life-Changing Job in the Trades

With support made possible through Spring2ACTion, one participant entered our program without even knowing how to use a hammer and is now a proud member of IBEW Local 26, working as a union electrician and earning life-changing wages. They continue to stay connected to Cornerstone Craftsman by sharing updates from the field, inspiring current youth and showing what’s possible when opportunity meets preparation and hard work.

Community Impact at CFNC

Every year, Spring2ACTion reminds us of the power of the Alexandria community and how they support our work and our families. Because of Spring2ACTion, CFNC is able to secure funding for the services our 139 children need the most and it allows us to meet even more of those needs.

Jackie's Story

Because of Spring2ACTion, AHA can keep membership rates affordable and provide scholarships to low-income older adults in our city. One scholarship recipient depends on AHA volunteers for transportation to weekly medical appointments and assistance with grocery shopping.  During her three years with our organization, she has built meaningful friendships, maintained consistent access to medical care, and brightened the lives of many volunteers with her warmth, curiosity, and—of course—her signature ginger candies.
