Move2Learn is an award-winning nonprofit based in Alexandria, VA, reimagining education around this simple truth: when students move, they learn better, feel better, and connect more deeply with each other.

Some kids walk into school every day not feeling like they belong there. Move2Learn changes that — from the moment a student chooses an accordion stool, to the brain boost or yoga pose that starts a conversation, to the after-school club where the shoes, the shirt, and the snack are already waiting for them. 

Ms. Peaches, a teacher at Polk Elementary School, says it simply: "It's like a free ticket to a child that has nowhere to go; you're telling them, you're welcome here, you fit in, you belong." When a child feels that, something shifts in their brain. They're not just calmer, they're ready. Ready to focus, ready to learn, ready to show up tomorrow.

This Spring2ACTion, we're going deeper into three Alexandria schools to make that belonging real for hundreds more students. For the first time, all three of our core programs, Active Seating with Teacher Training, our SEL curriculum, and Movement Clubs, will be fully integrated in these schools together. That combination is where the real transformation happens. 

For less than $30 per student, you can be the reason one child walks through that door and knows they belong.
