“The All night grad party was a pretty amazing experience. The party was very well put together and you could tell that hard work and care was put into this party to make sure it was top notch! I had so much fun socializing, playing games, getting my caricature done, having my own custom piece of chocolate, the abundance of food available, and especially winning one of the grand prizes of $750 dollars!!! The raffles were so fun to participate in because of all the amazing prizes you could win. Class of 25 will have a blast with it next year! Just make sure you do all the fun activities to earn more tickets to give you a better chance to win. The All Night Grad Party was a great way to end graduation. No thought involved. Since the tradition began at Alexandria City in 1989, not a single drug- or alcohol-related fatality has occurred during graduation night. This special graduation celebration, sponsored by the Alexandria City High School Parent Teacher Student Association, relies on the generous support of local businesses, organizations and community members like you! It clearly coveys our community's appreciation for our students' academic achievements and its deep commitment to their safety and well-being.
ACHS is the ONLY HIGH SCHOOL in Alexandria, the LARGEST public high school in the state. Our goal is to make this event as accessible to all Seniors to celebrate their success. WE NEED YOUR HELP to keep the costs manageable! Thanks to the generous monetary and in-kind donations from the Alexandria community, we have historically made this possible.
The event is held the night of the high school graduation from 8pm to midnight. The planning committee is excited to create a memorable night filled with music, caricaturist artists, magician, casino and games (bounce house, mechanical bull, photo booth, basketball hoops, foosball, and air hockey), food and raffle prizes. Lots of food, for those hungry teens!!
Seniors play games and win tickets for raffle drawings -- then they will have a chance to win much needed and wanted prizes like laptop computers, Beats headphones, Apple airpods, apartment/dorm supplies as well as a GoPro camera, a grand prize Sony PlayStation, and many gift cards!
