Bright Eyes - Provides vision screening for more than 5,000 children each year. Screenings test for nearsightedness and early childhood eye conditions, including amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (turned eye).
- Glasses4Scholars - Provides eye exams and prescription eyeglasses to school-age children in need at local schools and nonprofits.
- Affordable Eyeglasses Program - Provides prescription eyeglasses to individuals who need but cannot afford the total cost. We accept referrals from social service partners, as well as direct requests. We require appointments and a current prescription (less than a year old).
- See For Yourself - Provides screening and education for individuals at-risk for glaucoma, and other serious eye diseases, at local community events. Glaucoma causes permanent vision loss. It’s important to know the risks and take action – our area has the nation's highest rate of glaucoma.
- Low Vision Resource Center - Delivers free vision support services and resource navigation to assist individuals with macular degeneration, glaucoma, and other eye conditions, to maintain their independence.
- The Janet Morrision Resource and Support Network - Fosters support, awareness, and community-building to combat isolation among people with visual impairments, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma.
- Vision Rehabilitation - Working with an optometrist, people with visual impairments create a plan to enhance their ability to live independently, safely, and comfortably.
