HAMMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL PTA'S MISSION:

• Advocate for the involvement of all parents in the education of their children

• Promote positive family-school relationships between parents, teachers and staff members

• Identify and implement programs to support the educational advancement and social well-being of all Hammond Middle School students, parents, teachers and staff members.

• History & Science Day
• Christmas gift baskets for families
• Literacy Night
• Staff/teacher recognition
• English classes for 25 Hammond families
• ...and more! 

 

 

Our job has only begun. Help us continue to support our school for the 2016-2017 school year with your donation! Our goal for this year is $5,000--can we count on you? 

 

 

 Everyday, the administrators, teachers, and students of Francis C. Hammond Middle School work together to make their own corner of the Alexandria community a better place for everyone involved.

The Hammond PTA connects with parents and educators throughout the school year to share critical information and collaborate on activities in support of our students, teachers, and administrators. We provide lunches and snacks for Hammond staff on long days like the annual Open House and parent-teacher conference days, provide volunteer and financial support for school activities, and more! 

This year, funds raised will provide supplies and tools to our classrooms, support grade-level and family events hosted Hammond, teacher appreciation week, and we will help send our 8th graders to Philadelphia for a day-long field trip! 

Your donation on or before April 9th will go toward more of these types of events that support our proud students and educators at Francis C Hammond middle School.

Who We Are

The PTA at Francis C. Hammond Middle School is dedicated to finding ways for parents, grandparents and all caring adults to connect with teachers, administrators and other FCHammond parents. The PTA is involved in numerous volunteer activities throughout the year both during and after school hours. The mission of Francis C. Hammond Middle School through a partnership of students, families, staff, and community is to ensure that every student has the skills to build a strong social and academic foundation in order to transition into a successful, responsible member of society.
