Capital Caring Health (CCH) is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families facing life-limiting illness. Since 1977, CCH has been a leader in advancing care for those with serious illness, ensuring access regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

As one of the nation’s first nonprofit hospice organizations, CCH helped shape the future of end-of-life care by establishing an early inpatient hospice unit and contributing to the creation of the Medicare Hospice Benefit in 1982, which made hospice care accessible to millions.

We offer a full range of support, including medical care, emotional and spiritual counseling, and bereavement services for families. As a nonprofit provider, CCH serves as a safety net, ensuring that no one is turned away due to financial circumstances.

Through our Capital Caring Kids (CCK) program, we provide specialized pediatric care tailored to the unique needs of children with serious illness and their families. From diagnosis through bereavement, CCK walks alongside families, offering guidance, comfort, and support every step of the way. We also provide integrative and expressive therapies to support the emotional and physical well-being of both children and their families.
