ACHS Boys Rugby Boosters

The Alexandria City High School (ACHS) Boys’ Rugby Team is a real life tale of David vs. Goliath! This program has grown by leaps and bounds over the past four years with an increasing number of enthusiastic players and dedicated coaches. All are welcome to this incredibly diverse team – some from other sports, some wanting to try something new, but all finding a home in rugby. Their hard work has already paid off this season with huge wins against the rugby juggernauts of Gonzaga College High School and The Heights School – both experienced teams with unlimited financial support, fans and facilities – yet no match for our Titan spirit!

As a non-VHSL sport, the Boys’ Rugby Team is responsible for funding a larger portion of its operating expenses than other varsity sports at ACHS and our players often have greater needs. This year, we hope to raise $4000 to make this amazing youth sports environment accessible to more boys, host our private school opponents and celebrate our seniors at the end of the season. As a bonus, all donors who give $75 or more will be entered into a raffle to win a fancy dinner for 18 from Mindy’s Catering!
