The Concrete Rose Scholarship Foundation exists to support young women who have demonstrated resilience, leadership, and academic promise despite systemic barriers.

Founded by Alexandria resident Andrea C. Walton, Concrete Rose provides scholarships, mentorship, and workforce exposure to students from historically underserved communities in the U.S. and globally. Our scholars are first-generation college students, young women of color, and students navigating financial hardship — yet they persist, excel, and lead.

Concrete Rose believes talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. We invest in closing that gap.
