In a world that can feel overwhelming, every girl deserves a place where she feels safe, valued, and supported.

At Space of Her Own, we create that space.

We have seen our program’s impact year after year.  By pairing girls with outstanding female mentors, and guiding them through life skill-building lessons, and creative arts and STEM projects, SOHO creates a place for girls to be the best that they can be. Starting in 5th grade, SOHO invests in girls through meaningful relationships and community support—creating a foundation that empowers them to thrive from adolescence into adulthood.

And when a girl feels safe and confident, she rises.

Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that 3 in 5 teenage girls report persistent feelings of sadness.

Many girls who enter SOHO share that they:

• Don’t feel safe at home or school
• Lack trusted adults they can turn to
• Feel uncertain about their future
