Metropolitan School of the Arts

The arts bring people together, and they are a vital component of an engaged, strong community.

For 26 years, Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA) has been a home for performing arts training and performing artists in the Alexandria area. Generations of students ages three through adult have come to MSA to learn not only how to sing, act, and dance, but, more importantly, how to be good and generous human beings. 

These lessons extend far beyond the classroom, rippling out into the Alexandria community and across the metropolitan DC area. MSA is proud to support not only our students’ growth, but also various local charities and organizations through our community outreach performances.
