The Baroody Project

With the belief that all kids should have access to enriching activities, the Baroody Project was established in 2018 to close the activity gap. Studies have shown that extracurricular activities can help children develop skills, habits, connections, and knowledge that increase their self-esteem and resilience. 

The Baroody Project gives children the opportunity to participate in enrichment programs, STEM classes, chess clubs, arts programs, many sports and summer camps, regardless of their ability to pay.

This mission is brought to life by our dedicated team of part-time staff managing daily operations, alongside a volunteer Board of Directors whose diverse expertise spans decades. 

Together, we're breaking down financial barriers and creating opportunities that transform young lives through enrichment programs that would otherwise be out of reach.
