Alexandria Film Festival

• Film. Art. Ideas: The Alexandria Film Festival brings high-quality short and feature length films, filmmaker panels, and arts presentations to Alexandria for Veterans' Day weekend, November 13-15, 2026. We host safe, civil spaces for our audiences to discuss film and big ideas with the filmmakers, actors, artists and composers who create them to share with you. Last year, one of our films won an Oscar--the 7th in our history to win the award!

• The festival presents films throughout the year, culminating in an annual four-day celebration of filmmaking highlighting the talents of local, national, and international filmmakers. And in 2026--our 20th anniversary--we will move into our permanent home at MetroStage in the Old Town North Arts and Cultural District! Tickets are $15 per person ($80 for an All Fest Pass), with selected screenings offered free of charge.
