When you support ACS through Spring2ACTion, you are helping us sustain our legacy and broaden our community reach.
We are passionate about fostering an inclusive community that promotes and values diversity and equity for our singers, audiences, partners, and broader community.
As we look to our future, Alexandria Choral Society will be a leader in supporting Alexandria as an arts destination city and fostering meaningful partnerships to make Alexandria a better place to live.
ACS Artistic Director Kathryn Harsha leads the finale of the One Voice Alexandria choral festivalLast year, Alexandria Choral Society spearheaded the first annual One Voice Alexandria choral festival. We brought together more than 400 singers from eight ensembles, showcasing a community of song.
With Mayor Alyia Gaskins as our Master of Ceremonies, we created a memorable experience for both singers and audience members.
ACS also represented Alexandria on the global stage, visiting Ireland and Scotland, including our sister city of Dundee. Through our tour, we excited audiences and made friends an ocean away.

Our current season has invited audiences on a transformative journey through the deepest questions of human experience: How do we truly hear one another? How do we find joy in a weary world? What legacy do we leave?
Through ACS's commitment to collaboration, we have partnered with the Alexandria Children's Chorus, ASL interpreters from Gallaudet University, the Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic Orchestra, and Inspira Dance, broading our musical and community reach.
For the second consecutive year, our programming has been recognized by the Choralis Foundation's Ovation Awards, celebrating choral excellence in greater Washington, DC area.
