Since its founding in 2004, ACT for Alexandria has provided more than $10 million in grants to help to local nonprofit organizations strengthen their ability to deliver critical services to those in need.

ACT brings together public, private, and personal leaders to listen deeply to community members, advocate for key issues, and develop solutions for Alexandria’s most pressing challenges. ACT helps local nonprofits thrive!

Spring2ACTion is Alexandria's Giving Day: for 24 hours, ACT for Alexandria helps connect donors to the charitable causes they care about most, and encourages them to take ACTion through giving. 

This virtual fundraising effort, hosted by ACT for Alexandria with the help of generous sponsors, offers local nonprofits the opportunity to raise much-needed funds to benefit their missions.
