Beth is a six month old sweet Lab mix puppy from West Virginia, who should be learning what it feels like to be loved, safe, and part of a family. Instead, she was surrendered by the only home she knew and left behind in a rural shelter where each day feels longer than the last. Her eager eyes and precious smile don’t match the cold reality she’s facing, growing up surrounded by noise, fear, and uncertainty instead of warmth and care. Homeward Trails wants so badly to give Beth the second chance she deserves, to get her out before the shelter becomes all she knows. However, they can’t do it without help. She is just a baby, still full of love, still trusting, still waiting for someone to choose her.
