More Than Just a Choir—Finding My People

For over 15 years, the Alexandria Singers has been more than just a musical group to me; it has been my community. When I first joined, I was looking for a place to sing. What I found was "my people"—a vibrant, fun-loving group of individuals who share a passion for making great music and supporting one another.

I am so proud to be part of an organization that has been a staple of the Alexandria community for over 50 years. Our mission goes far beyond the stage; we are deeply committed to bringing artistry, education, and service to the community we serve. Whether we are performing, teaching, or volunteering, we strive to make Alexandria a more vibrant place through the power of song.

We pour our hearts into every performance to bring joy to our neighbors, but keeping a 50-year legacy alive requires more than just high notes. Whether it’s $10 or $100, every donation helps us cover the costs of music licensing, venue rentals, and our various community outreach programs.
