Help Me Support the Mount Vernon Trail!

I co-founded the Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail in 2018 and serve as the President. We're an all volunteer group that improves the trail through volunteer events and fundraising. Last year we installed 7 new water fountains on the trail. 

In addition to funding our weekly volunteer trail improvement events, this year Spring2Action donors will be supporting three great projects:

Picnic Table Replacement	Trash Can Installation	Boundary Stone Preservation
We're replacing damaged picnic tables with new ADA compliant tables to provide rest areas on the trail and its parks.​ ​ ​	Help create a trash free trail! We're installing new trash cans on the trail and its parks. ​ ​	Help us preserve the southern DC Boundary Stone at Jones Point Lighthouse. We're replacing its damaged enclosure and cleaning out debris. ​
