Sloane Gregory

Hello! My name is Sloane Gregory and I'm a sophomore on Titan Robotics. I joined Titan Robotics last year and quickly found myself drawn to the operations side of the team. This year I'm serving as the Fundraising Lead, continuing to write grants and reach out to our community.

I am sincerely grateful that robotics has allowed me to connect with our local communities. I enjoy being able to spread STEM to others through outreach events. At these outreach events we typically bring our past robot, iBeam, letting participants drive and shoot foam rings. We also run eight summer camps where elementary and middle school students are introduced to many different elements of STEM, such as JAVA, Aerospace, Chemistry and Engineering.

We have a "No Cuts, No Fees, No Experience Required" policy that makes it possible for everyone to be able to join the team regardless of social or economic status. This allows our team members to attend competitions without cost. And this year Titan Robotics qualified for District Champions! 

With your donations, Titan Robotics will be able to continue spreading STEM throughout its community with Outreach events and Summer Camps. You'll also help to ensure that everyone is able to attend District Championships and Worlds (if we make it) in future years!
