King Street Cats provides a safe haven for the cats that need it most—seniors, special-needs cats, pregnant strays, and newborn kittens—when area shelters and other rescues cannot.

Special needs cats like Jingle: A kind stranger found this sweet boy huddled by the roadside in the winter cold—frightened, alone, and completely blind. He came to KSC in urgent need of surgery for painful eye infections and, with loving care, he healed. Jingle quickly captured everyone's heart with his joyful spirit, showing us that, even without sight, he felt safe and loved at KSC. Today, he’s thriving in the forever home he always deserved.

Kittens like Rhonda and Rodney: Another desperate call—two tiny kittens found outside, barely clinging to life. Could we help? Thanks to supporters like you, we could say yes. Rhonda was rushed into eye surgery and battled a nasty systemic infection for several weeks; it was literally touch-and-go. Throughout her ordeal, her brother Rodney never left her side. And he is still by her side now in their forever home. Two more lives changed—only because of you.

Senior cats like Oliver: Still going strong at 20, seniors like Oliver find comfort and dignity in their KSC “retirement home.” Alongside him are Tyson, 15, who survived being shot and now falls asleep safely in his foster mom’s arms each night, and Theo, a confident leader who keeps his little family in line. And then there’s sweet Daisy, a gentle soul in her mid-teens, happiest curled in a lap. Thanks to your support, cats like these can spend their golden years surrounded by love, safety, and care.

And then there's sweet Franny: Franny was found all alone in a rainstorm before finding safe haven at KSC. Thanks to supporters like YOU, this tiny “wobbly” kitten was able to be taken to specialists to be evaluated and then diagnosed with functional blindness. We fostered Franny for over a year, but never gave up hope of Franny being adopted. And then it happened…Franny found her purrfect family and is loving life in her forever home.

Home Starts Here. King Street Cats is a true sanctuary where even the most overlooked cats find safety, patience, care, and—most importantly—love. Surrounded by devoted volunteers, each cat is given the time, trust, and gentle support they need to feel secure until they’re ready for a forever home.

We are often the only hope for special cats and kittens like Jingle, Rhonda and Rodney, Oliver and his senior pals, and Franny. But that puts a tremendous strain on our financial resources. It’s only thanks to people like you that we can continue our critical work.
