Alexandria City High School Band Boosters

Alexandria City High School Band students are empowered to achieve the highest level of musical independence, allowing them a lifetime of musical participation, appreciation, and enjoyment.

Your donations directly help our students.  Our goal this year is $5,000 in total donations to assist with improving educational opportunities for our band.  For many students, the cost of lessons or outside school improvement is just too high.  With your donation, we will be able to expand the opportunities for our students to improve their musical skills.  Your support will help all groups within the ACHS Band Program to include the Marching Titans, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic and Concert Bands, and the Jazz Bands.

Your donations can support the following opportunities for students:  

$25 defers the costs of 1-on-1 lessons for individual students  

$75 pays for a professional musician to tutor 10 kids for 1 - 2 hours.  

$250 defers the cost for students to attend All State and receive hands-on instruction from professional musicians

$500 pays for a student to attend Summer Band Camp and receive lessons from college instructors 

$750 pays for all 10 musical sections to receive professional tutoring for 1 - 2 hours.  

$1000 defers the cost for 2 students to participate in a band trip and learn from professional musicians (for example, the NY Philharmonic)
